Grammarly is an automated grammar checker that can also detect plagiarism! You can even download Grammarly directly to your web browser or MS Office toolbars.

Users must create their own individual accounts under our VFMAC account. To create your account:

  1. Go to Grammarly’s SignUp page
  2. Provide your name, @vfmac.edu (faculty/staff) or @cadet.vfmac.edu (student) email, and password.
  3. Check your inbox for the confirmation email, and click on the activation link.

NoodleTools is an integrated environment for teaching effective research and encouraging original thinking and writing. Students can create, tag, pile, and link notecards while gathering their research. A student favorite is the bibliography generator, helping to create accurate citations in MLA, APA, and/or Chicago formats.

Instructors and Students must click the REGISTER button to create an individual account.

If accessing from off-campus, you may be prompted for the institutional login. Email the library for the institutional login information.

TurnItIn checks for plagiarism and allows faculty to see exactly what sources students are using and evaluate them for credibility.
