Annotated Bibliographies

An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles, and documents. This is a great step to complete early in the research process, as it helps you to collect and analyze your sources. Think of it as creating your own smaller library to refer back to instead of having to search and re-search as you’re drafting.

Students often find the process of doing this step burdensome, but love that the end-product is easy to refer back to later in the process.
